The Village Reform Democratic Club's mission is to foster the link between local political activists and the local, state and national Democratic infrastructure. As a grassroots organization, the VRDC provides a venue for discourse relating to issues that arise both in New York's Greenwich Village and greater downtown area and on the state and national stages.
Founded in 1983, the VRDC's reform-minded roots continue on as the Club strives to provide a higher level of transparency and input into the day-to-day political process.
The VRDC respects the wide diversity of viewpoints within the Democratic Party. If you're interested in politics, live downtown, and enjoy meeting like-minded neighbors, welcome.
